Our flaws are what make us human…WITH depression, anxiety, pimples, scars, wrinkles, and disease—YOU are a perfect human being. Your thoughts related to fear and doubts are natural and meant for your survival. Understanding them and working through them are steps toward accomplishing your dreams. Remember: THE MOST IMPORTANT VOICE YOU HEAR EVERY DAY IS YOUR OWN.

Your brain is trying to protect you from disappointment. Disappointment hurts! The best way to do that is to keep you from starting in the first place, or protecting you from further disappointment when you fail.

To challenge your brain’s over-protection:

Write your goal.

List your challenges. For each challenge write what you CAN DO to overcome it NOW. Even the smallest action to start on your goal is ACTION and ACHIEVEMENT.

What can you do in 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour?

Make your goals now for 2020 and work them NOW!

(And remember TO MAKE SENSE!)

Waiting for perfect can sabotage your goals. Even if you do not accomplish 100% of what you set out to do, rejoice in what you have done.
